At Allerton House Hingham, we believe that strong community connections enrich the lives of our residents, fostering a sense of belonging, purpose and joy.

Through our valued partnerships with local organizations, we bring cultural enrichment, wellness initiatives, and meaningful engagement opportunities right to our residents’ doorsteps.

These collaborations not only enhance daily life but also create a dynamic, supportive environment where residents thrive. By fostering relationships with the broader community, we ensure that our residents stay connected, engaged and empowered to live fulfilling lives.

“Our partnerships with local organizations allow us to create a vibrant, engaging atmosphere where residents feel connected to the world around them. These relationships bring joy, purpose and new experiences that truly enhance the quality of life for everyone in our community,” said Allerton House Hingham Sales Director, Devon Gallivan.

Faith and Fellowship: St. Paul’s Church

Spiritual well-being is an important aspect of holistic health, and our partnership with St. Paul’s Church ensures that residents have access to regular religious services and a dedicated rosary group.

These gatherings provide comfort, connection, and a sense of tradition, allowing residents to nurture their faith in a familiar and supportive setting.

Bridging Generations: Notre Dame Academy

Intergenerational connections bring energy and joy to our community, and our collaboration with Notre Dame Academy is a shining example of this. Students visit Allerton House Hingham monthly, engaging residents through sing-alongs, games, and entertainment during happy hours.

Their recent participation in our annual Sweetheart Dance for Valentine’s Day brought smiles, laughter and cherished memories, highlighting the power of shared experiences.

The Healing Power of Music: South Shore Conservatory and Sing Explore Create, LLC

Music plays a vital role in uplifting, inspiring and connecting residents at Allerton House Hingham. Through partnerships with South Shore Conservatory and Sing Explore Create, LLC, we bring the therapeutic benefits of music to enhance emotional well-being and cognitive engagement.

In Memory Care, our collaboration with South Shore Conservatory offers enriching music therapy programs that inspire joy, foster self-expression, and support cognitive health. These sessions create meaningful moments that strengthen emotional connections and improve quality of life.

With Sing Explore Create, LLC, Music Therapist Sam Roane leads weekly sessions that engage residents through rhythm and melody. Her approach helps build confidence, encourages self-expression, and reinforces the emotional and cognitive benefits of music therapy.
